GUIDE

Cost may vary depending upon how much information you want and how much research may have to be done.
If I already have the information you are seeking, the cost will be according to the price table below. If I have to
do additional research, it will depend on several variables (distance to travel, time to accomplish, etc.). I do not
do this for a living or to make a profit - I simply wish to help people with their French-Canadian ancestry and to
cover my expenses. I have been doing this for many years and am an expert in this region with Franco-American genealogy. I can help more than 85% of those seeking information (with a Maine connection) on this subject.

There is no charge if I cannot get the information you requested. If I am able to get partial information, the cost
will be according to how much was actually obtained (usually a small fee).

Generally, this is the order in which I prefer to work with you.

1. You provide me with the information you are looking for (either by e-mail, snail-mail, or telephone call).
2. I will check my records to see if I can help you.
3. I will contact you as soon as possible and let you know if I have the information you are seeking and tell you
how much I will do it for. If I can't help you, I will suggest other sources which may help you.
4. You should then send me a check or money order (in US dollars) for the specified amount.
5. Upon receiving it I will forward the information to you either by snail-mail or by e-mail, whichever you request.
I prefer to send it e-mail if possible as it also saves both of us postage expenses, time and trouble.

Depending on the amount of work required, I may be able to get back to you within a couple of days or longer
(up to two weeks or more) if I must do research at the Archives or order and view special microfilm (which could
take a couple of months due to time required between ordering and receiving any microfilm(s).
My prices are extremely fair and my work is accurate as humanly possible.

THANK YOU
