Show Results - 2007
The 2007 show season is winding down. We
occasionally have goats in the online show at www.boergoats.com.
We will soon have a few of our "production does" in the online show as
well. We will update the site accordingly on their achievements.

What the judge ( Danny Thompson) said about the
pair of does...
..."Nice pair of does on the top of this
class, going to start with the longer bodied one of the pair. Both does are big
framed tall fronted does that appears to be maturing does with a lot of growth
potential."

Judge comments:
"Love the extension of front and the way
he ties in at the shoulder. Just like to level him from
his hooks to his pins - still a nice buck."

"Thank You"
Andy Hivnor, Kyle Hivnor, and Eddie Veyon for helping
show goats in the Junior and Open classes!!!
Summary
The long anticipated 2007 Morgan Co. Fair is now behind
us, and we survived!! It was a great time showing, socializing with friends
and family, and who could forget the great cornhole games at the campers
when chores were done for the day!!! We are very pleased that
2 of our production does took Reserve Champion. The pinnacle of fair
was "Fancy" taking home the Grand Champion Overall in the
Open Class. We look forward to a even better fair next year with the
lineup of upcoming kids from "Jeronimo" and some of the fine
show and production does he is bred to.

"Ariel" made it in the
"TOP 20" for the year, and was in the year end Championship
Drive for Grand or Reserve for the year. She did not make Grand or
Reserve, however we are proud of the fact that she made it in the top 20
of hundreds of goats from all over the world. We are anxious for her kids
and to show her on the circuit again this year.

2007 was a great year for our farm, as we
have had good and bad times that comes with animals health, showing and having
fun enjoying the animals. We are excited about the upcoming kid crop which
should produce great animals from our show and production lines. Check
back often!
